That's a pretty decent piece to the collection. I wouldn't think of it as a waste. Like you said, it's your personal piece of history. Too bad (and I could be wrong) that Satellaview games/applications were not perserved (as far as I know at least) and could be used via emulation for anyone to check out.

I'm glad the Nintendo 64, only had one of these. Back in the day... I wanted to beat every N64 game, and I thought the only way I could beat a game like this was go through, choose all the options, find as much text as I could, then type it all out, and translate it sentence by sentence. It only took me about 3-4 years but I did finish "Yakochu II: Satsujin Koro, with Complete English Translation", and it's here on UA-cam. Now I feel sorry for the poor people who have to put up with my broken English translation. It was still fun learning about the mystery really slow, and discovering who did it. And there were even bonus scenarios, and some of the endings were pretty grizzly, while others were silly and fantasy themed. Hopefully someone has, or will translate this game into English, and then do a play through and read the entire thing to us. A lady named "Tara A. Devlin" narrated the "Yakochu" Super Famicom game in English, which is really cool.

The worst part about the best feature on 2, motorcycles, is that the bycicle is actually better and faster than the bikes since you're coerced to follow road rules, which you don't have to with the bike, also, you get pretty fast at cycling by lvling up stamina. So sad...and the worst part is that they never put that feature back on any of the next games which is something super attached with this subculture. Great video!

A minor note, but at 0:39, the use of "dread" as an adjective is correct in English although it's pretty outdated. It has a Shakespearean feel to native English speakers, which is probably the mood the translator was going for. It definitely wasn't mistaken for "dreaded".

I just finished this game on my channel and I really liked it! Every day I'm amazed to see so many good SNES games that didn't come to the West. There are endless games. 😅
